Giving to IAIA

TYPES OF GIFTS

You can support IAIA by making one of the types of gifts listed below. However, the Office of Institutional Advancement staff will be happy to discuss in more depth other options you may be considering.

ENDOWMENT GIFTS ensure that your money will continue to provide educational opportunities, in perpetuity, for new generations of Native youth. The Institute has established two endowment funds: General Endowment and Scholarship Endowment. These two funds provide the greatest financial benefit for the future operation of the Institute as they gather and preserve capital while providing real growth in value. A named scholarship fund may be established through a gift of $50,000 and above to the Scholarship Endowment.

PLANNED GIFTS are welcomed in the form of cash, stocks, life insurance, real estate, personal property, a will or living trust, life income gifts, retirement plans, charitable lead trusts, etc. We encourage you to meet with your financial advisor regarding estate planning or with Merrill Lynch, IAIA’s advisor to our Planned Giving Program.

NAMED GIFTS are available within the Library and Technology Center, and through the Scholarship and General Endowment Programs.

CORPORATE SPONSORSHIPS, starting at $5,000, offer benefits and recognition for corporations. These gifts can support educational programs, fundraising events, traveling exhibits, and much more. Recognition is also given through IAIA’s Business Council, a volunteer fundraising arm of the school.

To discuss giving opportunities, contact the Office of Institutional Advancement at 800.804.6423 or 505.424.5704.
